Legacy software development with LINQPad
On Wednesday, I went to another Wellington .NET User Group – I like the presentations and you get a free pizza, so why would you even consider staying home?
This one was a series of short 10 minutes presentations with various tools that can make your life easier and one of them was by Gareth Bradley about LINQPad – a tool for better querying SQL database.
In the middle of the presentation a question was raised.
A: How does the LINQPad know what are the relations between objects?
G: Referential integrity of your database.
Another in the back guy slightly turns toward his colleague and whispers:
B: Damn!
Legacy software developers, my prayers are with you!
